About

Thanks for visiting my blog! I have been a true Christian believer since 2007, although I have been in and out of church my entire life. I guess I was one of those slow learners that had to be beat over the head a few times before I truly understood God’s grace and mercy. I wish I could say that my journey has been smooth, but sometimes I feel like it’s two steps forward, one step back. I am to a point now where I am struggling with religion, as well as complete surrender to God. I understand it’s part of the journey, and I’m comfortable with that. Openness and authenticity have been my strong points, and this has led me to consider blogging…

I have always enjoyed writing, but never really in this format, so I’m not sure what to expect. I am sure this, just like my Christian life, will be a work in progress. I really appreciate you taking the time to read my thoughts! I don’t expect that you’ll agree with everything I say, but maybe some of the things I write will cause you to think…and maybe even allow for appropriate discussion. I hope that by writing this blog, I can encourage others on their spiritual journey!

  1. Great words. Keep the faith. You are doing great. Never doubt your gift, nor your inspiration to share what is on your heart. For this is the reason the gospel is to be shared: it is JOY that completes us; John 15:11. You have that Joy. So, take comfort, and reveal it; 2 Cor. 1.

It was a pleasure meeting you. I am encouraged by your willingness to speak the Word of Jesus. My being a a Pastor or not, it is a benefit in any capacity to be reminded of His Word. As you know, His word is the “Living” Word that produces life from within us all. And, you have that life. Remain in Him, and He will remain in you; John 15.

Be blessed, my sister in the Lord, for your work is not done yet.

    • Wow! Thank you for your encouraging words! Writing ministers to me and I pray God will use my thoughts and even my struggles to help others. I am so glad I met you and I really appreciate the work you’re doing! I pray that your ministry reaches people who don’t know God, as well as continues to encourage those who already do! Keep up the great preaching, and remember that even if the audience is small, it still makes a difference!
